What If?

Whenever, I read a success biog, time and time again I read that 'they' had a really clear vision that they kept in the forefront of their mind.  Just what if that clear vision isn't a path that you follow but you are actually mentally constructing an alternative reality?  Your actions not only would take you closer to your vision, but it would be constantly building upon your belief in it's attainability until eventually you believe it so much you make it real.  You literally create it.

How many times do you read something that tells you can create anything that you want, you can build the life of your dreams?  It seems a great idea but may be a million miles from where you are right now.

You read about successful entrepreneurs that held a vision for a dream they had and bit by bit they made it happen.

What if you really do literally create your reality?  Science is catching up with spirituality and showing that many of the ideas that have been shared for so long may actually be possible.   The more we start to understand about the quantum world we are told that there are so many things that just can't be explained logically, that it is almost like there is something else at work that can't be quantified and explained away.  That there are more mysteries to be explored than there are known facts.

May be you like me 'know' that there is something else, a greater truth than the life we have been led to believe is reality, that this life/reality may actually be the lie.

At the end of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome there are the kids who tell stories of great iron birds that used to fly in the sky, and because no one has seen them they seem like a fantasy, but to us they are our reality our known Universe.  It's easy to see how these would seem farfetched stories to those that have never seen them.  So how many stories that seem farfetched now are the truth and we have yet to step up and choose to believe in them?

With this truth and knowing as part of your belief system, what life would you create for yourself now?

Have Faith, Take Action

I've just recently recovered from an infected tooth, which resulted in me needing a double dose of antibiotics, but this blog is not to bemoan my very unhappy mouth and face at the beginning of that little tale.

Having recently booked a much longed for trip to California, it went through my mind this morning albeit briefly, momentary fear about getting a cold or a tummy bug before or during the trip.  I generally don't subscribe to these things but the thought was there.  I have come to learn that with any negative thought it has it's opposite, in this case to ask the question "Knowing that antibiotics have damaging after effects on the delicate balance of the ecology in my body what would I need to do to help myself counteract that?"

Minutes later...silence.

Having decided that worrying would be just the low energy thing I needed to do in order to invite some lurking bug in to my world I pushed the thought aside and set off to meet a friend.  Half an hour later laughing over my tooth story, quite unprompted, she informed me that there were some vitamins that can be taken that counteract the negative after effects of taking antibiotics, ahhhh! Life had heard me this morning and was taking care of business.  My friend couldn't remember the name of them but it was some concoction that health food shops might know about.

Now, when that something greater in Life steps in to help, it is not meant to be a one sided thing.  Whereby you state your question or desire and it comes along like Cinderella's Fairy Godmother and waves it's magic wand, as some seem to think it is.

You have to help yourself, Life just gives you a helping hand, it's basically teamwork that will get you through.  Firstly, you have to develop Faith.  Faith in order to believe that this was whatever or whoever responding, (giving IT a label just confuses the issue) but there really is a greater Life Force around us and this was it working.  My part was to take action.

Action has to be the next step after having acquired the Faith bit.  So, having said our goodbyes I called the local health food shop, asked the question and straightaway I was informed that I needed Acidophilus, next job to go and collect it.  Sorted.  Taken three times a day for the next 2-3 weeks my bodies' ecology will be balanced once again.

I know that I'm going to be fine for my trip.  I know this because I took action towards helping myself and more importantly I had faith enough to know that Life was giving me the answer to that mornings question it's my faith in that greater scheme of things that I know my trip before and after IS going to be symptom free.

Have Faith and take Action.

The Complete Package

This life that you are trying to lead is completely man made, you have been told how to live, what society deems acceptable, what religious thoughts to have with regard to the religion you have been bought up in, what's good behaviour –v- bad.  What constitutes a good parent, partner, citizen, neighbour.  There are rules, rules, rules, but where are the 'rules' that get you to learn to focus on the spiritual part of yourself?

These RULES of how we are supposed to function are causing us to go against the very nature of what it means to be a human being, because part of what makes us human is our soul, our spirit.  Our inner sense of wisdom about who we are.

We are trying to be something that we're not, and this is where the rub is coming.  We have tried to deny the part of us, that spiritual inner knowing that we all possess, that voice of intuition, because we are afraid of how it will be perceived. Whilst we all experience it and know about it if someone declares openly that they rely on it, and that it's real then they are considered weird or may be a little crazy or 'one of them', not a fully paid up member of a functioning society.

But to think otherwise is actually not being a fully functioning human being.  We are disconnected and lost when we deny who we truly are, which is a spiritual being as much as a physical, emotional and logical being, and until we fully acknowledge and integrate that part of ourselves into who we are and how we function we are going to keep hitting wall after wall in our journey through this life.

If we keep pretending that this part of us doesn't exist then these feelings of loneliness, isolation, lack, less than that are endemic in the majority of society today, will not leave us because these feelings aren't describing something from the physical that is missing, property, the right partner, the right job what we are missing and longing for is ourselves that part of our self that is knowing and connected to us, the Universe, God and every other living thing everywhere.  A connection that big could and will never be filled by material things or another person.

The irony is that as soon as we acknowledge that and start to bring that other part of ourselves back online so to speak as it was always meant to be and we then integrate that part of ourselves the external also starts to change and all that we felt was may be missing starts to become available.  We become more appealing to be with because we're happier, less needy, we're more fun to be with, we do our jobs better which means we have a better chance of earning more money for those material things that we do fancy acquiring, but even then what we actually start to acquire is different because we no longer 'NEED' them they are purely there for fun or to give us an experience.
